My name is Bonnie Bullman. I was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina. I live in Barnardsville with my husband, Mark. I have two daughters, Ashley and Whitney.  Ashley and her husband, Mitchell, live in Wolf Laurel.  Ashley is a teacher at North Windy Ridge and Mitchell is a barber in Weaverville.  Whitney and her husband Jeremy live in Mars Hill.  Whitney is a teacher at Barnardsville Elementary.  Jeremy is in law enforcement. They have two children, Lauryn and Lucas who are both excellent students.

My husband and I have up to twenty stands of honeybees at any given time.  Those bees produce local mountain honey.  YUM! One of our favorite things to do as a family is to get out into the woods.  I also enjoy flower gardening, swimming, our mountains, my great nieces and nephews,  and most of all...TEACHING.  I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at Mars Hill University.  This is my 15th year teaching.  I have taught kindergarten for all of those years at Weaverville Primary School.  I am looking forward to another year with some of my favorite people...5 year olds!!

Kindergarten Kids are busy, busy.
We are working hard to become better HAWKS.
We are working on following the HAWKS rules without having so many reminders even when no one is watching.

Our HAWKS rules are:
Have Respect
Awesome Attitude
Willing Workers
Kind Kids
Successful Students.

Please review these rules with your child.
Together we will help your child to be a successful student.

Buncombe County Schools is in the process of reviewing its website to ensure compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
