Welcome To My Classroom

Jennifer Shelley

Hi, my name is Jennifer Shelley and I am originally from Stanley, N.C.  I have a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Gardner-Webb University.  In the year 2004, I earned my National Board teaching certification.    In 2014 I successfully renewed my National Board Certification.  I also have attainted my AIG endorsement.

I am beginning my 24th year at Weaverville Primary School.  I taught my first year at Weaverville Primary in Second grade.

I live in Mars Hill with my husband Allen who teaches at Mars Hill University.  We have been married for twenty years and have a 5 year old daughter named Lilly.  I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading, spending time with my family and exercising in the fitness center.

I am looking forward to an exciting school year of new experiences and learning opportunities with your children.
