Mrs. Knight has been teaching at Weaverville Primary School for 18 Years. She currently holds licenses in Regular Education, Special Education and has an Academically Gifted  Endorsement.  Her favorite subjects to teach are Reading, Social Studies and  Science and she is always finding new ways to make instruction more fun and exciting for her students.  When she is away from the classroom, she loves to be with her husband, son and daughter; and snuggling up with a good book and her three rescued dogs.  "My passion is reading. It is a gift that can take you anywhere at anytime, providing excitement, help, education,  or inspiration whenever we need it. The ability to read is a gift we all need to give ourselves."
Mrs. Knight has recently developed a love for fly fishing.  She also has been practicing yoga for several years now , and is certified to teach  Children's Yoga .  In 2012, she made the trip to the Himalayas and had the wonderful opportunity to meet the people of Bhutan.
