Owen High PTO is just the best PTO ! Not just the valley, the county, the state- they are the best -period. This is one of the favorite days of teachers in the building, the other is our holiday dinner, also provided by PTO. The thoughtfulness and cheer of our team brings us joy and reminds us that the apples do not fall far from the trees. The sweetness of our students has been cultivated by our valley families. Thank you for our blessings!

Whether it be English, Art, Science, Math, Foreign Language, or P.E., teaching is a noble profession! Teachers at Owen give their all for the students and we really appreciate you ...

Prom Day was brought to us this year with the Help of Glenbrook North High School who encouraged us to be Stronger Through the Storm and by Universe United Miss North Carolina who created Shining Through the Storm to bring prom dresses to any student who wanted one. The thoughtfulness and kindness of people in this world does indeed inspire us to persevere and find joy in one another's company. Tonight we share that joy at our prom ! Thank You- I am crying tears of gratitude for the love shown our school family.
More pics to follow tonight !

Owen High Students were thrilled with the Prom Dress selections brought to them by Universe United Miss North Carolina 2025, Reanna Ruark. The event was possibly the most fun ever related to the prom. We are so grateful that Reanna chose our school and our community to "blessus with the dressus"! The takeaway for these students is that people in this world do make a difference when they show they care about others and they bring joy when they work to make another persons life better. Looking forward to seeing these students at prom in their new dresses !
